How it went
What sells West Cliff Drive / Mitchell's Cove is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific. We worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
A relaxed ninety minutes. We walked the perimeter, found the angles that worked, and let the light do most of the heavy lifting. The couple loosened up after the first ten frames and that's when the gallery really came together.
Cliff-edge sessions tend to be the ones couples come back to a year later, still surprised at how the day held. This one will too.
