How it went
There's a window at West Cliff Drive / Mitchell's Cove between four and six in the afternoon where the cliffs catch direct light and the water turns deep teal. That's when we shot.
Two hours of slow walking and quiet direction. No awkward poses, no "say cheese," just a couple who like each other in a place that suited them. We rotated through a couple of micro-locations within the spot, picking up different angles as the sun moved.
The view does most of the work. The couple does the rest. 13 frames of one quiet hour at the edge of the Pacific.
