How it went
We shot West Cliff Drive / Mitchell's Cove like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
Years from now they'll point to one of these frames and remember exactly what the air smelled like that afternoon.
