Garrapata Beach sits on cliffs that drop hundreds of feet straight into the Pacific. We worked in golden-hour light, when it wraps the rocks and the marine layer thins out at the horizon.

Next stop was Bixby Bridge, where the cliffs play harder shadows. Different mood entirely from the first spot.

A half-day, in pieces. We worked each location for thirty to forty minutes, then moved on. Different light, different backdrops, but the same loose direction throughout.
