We shot Garrapata Beach like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.
Then we drove to Proposal Trail for the cliff-edge angles — sharper light, wider horizons, the kind of frame that makes the surrounding coast look bigger.
Pacing was the hard part. Each spot got its own window, the light moved with us, and the drives between gave the couple time to reset and relax before the next backdrop.
