How it went
There's a window at Proposal Trail between four and six in the afternoon where the cliffs catch direct light and the water turns deep teal. That's when we shot.
From there we made our way to Garrapata Beach. The Pacific from that perspective drops your jaw the first time you see it.
Multi-location shoots are equal parts choreography and improvisation. We mapped the order in advance, but the actual frames came from being patient at each stop until the light cooperated.
What came out: 10 edited frames you could hang on a wall. Sneak peeks within 24 hours, full gallery in seven days. Part of an ongoing run of shoots across Carmel.
