How it went
What sells Bixby Bridge is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific. We worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
There's something about cliffs that makes a proposal stick. The wind, the height, the silence between waves. They'll remember the texture of the day long after the photos settle into a frame on the wall.
