Sutro Baths is the kind of beach that doesn't fill up. We shot at the back end of the day, when the sand goes pink and the marine layer pulls in to soften everything.

We finished at Palace of Fine Arts for the architecture — clean lines, long shadows, a contrasting frame from the natural-light stops.

A half-day, in pieces. We worked each location for thirty to forty minutes, then moved on. Different light, different backdrops, but the same loose direction throughout.

The gallery came in at 28 edited frames. Sneak peeks went out same-night; the rest landed within the week. Part of an ongoing run of shoots across San Francisco.
