Lands End sits on cliffs that drop hundreds of feet straight into the Pacific. We worked in golden-hour light, when it wraps the rocks and the marine layer thins out at the horizon.
From there we drove down to Sutro Baths for the back end of the day, when the sand catches pink and the marine layer comes in to flatten everything.
Pacing was the hard part. Each spot got its own window, the light moved with us, and the drives between gave the couple time to reset and relax before the next backdrop.
What came out: 92 edited frames you could hang on a wall. Sneak peeks within 24 hours, full gallery in seven days. Another reason San Francisco stays on the regular rotation.
See each spot in depth.
