What sells Lands End is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific — we worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
We finished at Palace of Fine Arts for the architecture — clean lines, long shadows, a contrasting frame from the natural-light stops.
Two-plus hours of slow walking, quiet direction, and a couple drives between spots. Each location added a different look to the gallery — coast, cliff, ridge, trees — without the day ever feeling rushed.
Final delivery: 41 retouched photos. First selects within a day, the rest within seven. Another reason San Francisco stays on the regular rotation.
