How it went
Beach light at Sutro Baths does something soft and warm to skin tones at sunset. We worked the last ninety minutes, walking the tide line for changing angles.
We finished at Palace of Fine Arts for the architecture: clean lines, long shadows, a contrasting frame from the natural-light stops.
We took the long route. Two-plus hours including driving, the kind of shoot where every location adds another color to the gallery.
Beach sessions have a way of making everyone slow down. Tide coming in, sun dropping, two people figuring out the next chapter together.
