How it went
Sutro Baths is the kind of beach that doesn't fill up. We shot at the back end of the day, when the sand goes pink and the marine layer pulls in to soften everything.
Next was Batteries to Bluffs Trail, a different beach with a different texture. Same sun, totally different feel.
Two-plus hours of slow walking, quiet direction, and a couple drives between spots. Each location added a different look to the gallery (coast, cliff, ridge, trees) without the day ever feeling rushed.
Beach sessions have a way of making everyone slow down. Tide coming in, sun dropping, two people figuring out the next chapter together.
