How it went
We shot Panther Beach like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
The view does most of the work. The couple does the rest. 26 frames of one quiet hour at the edge of the Pacific.
