There's a window at Lands End between four and six in the afternoon where the cliffs catch direct light and the water turns deep teal. That's when we shot.
Next was Sutro Baths, a different beach with a different texture. Same sun, totally different feel.
From there we drove down to Baker Beach for the back end of the day, when the sand catches pink and the marine layer comes in to flatten everything.
We finished at Legion of Honor for the architecture: clean lines, long shadows, a contrasting frame from the natural-light stops.
Two-plus hours of slow walking, quiet direction, and a couple drives between spots. Each location added a different look to the gallery (coast, cliff, ridge, trees) without the day ever feeling rushed.
The view does most of the work. The couple does the rest. 144 frames of one quiet hour at the edge of the Pacific.

Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves. Nothing sets expectations like seeing multiple sessions at one location in different weather, times of day, and seasons. We get amazing photos no matter what, and we’re not afraid to show you.
