The Forest of Nisene Marks is a cathedral grove. The light comes down in shafts, the sound drops out, and the scale of the place does the work for you.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
19 photos among the trees. They'll be back in a year for the wedding portraits and the forest will be exactly the same.
Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves.
