On the ridge at Windy Hill Summit the light is exposed. No tree cover, just direct sun and a long horizon line. We worked the last forty minutes before sunset.
A relaxed ninety minutes. We walked the perimeter, found the angles that worked, and let the light do most of the heavy lifting. The couple loosened up after the first ten minutes and that's when the gallery really came together.
Trail shoots take more out of you than the photos suggest. Half a mile of walking, a thousand feet of elevation, the right light at the right turn, and then it's over.
Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves.
