How it went
What sells Soberanes Trail is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific. We worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
A relaxed ninety minutes. We walked the perimeter, found the angles that worked, and let the light do most of the heavy lifting. The couple loosened up after the first ten frames and that's when the gallery really came together.
There's something about cliffs that makes a proposal stick. The wind, the height, the silence between waves. They'll remember the texture of the day long after the photos settle into a frame on the wall.
