There's a window at Soberanes Trail between four and six in the afternoon where the cliffs catch direct light and the water turns deep teal. That's when we shot.

Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot — the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.

We delivered 27 edited frames. A handful within 24 hours so you have something to share with family; the full set seven days later. Another reason Big Sur stays on the regular rotation.
