We shot Soberanes Trail like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.

We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half — enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.

The gallery came in at 28 edited frames. Sneak peeks went out same-night; the rest landed within the week. Another reason Big Sur stays on the regular rotation.
