How it went
Shark Fin Cove stretches out for miles at low tide. We timed this for the last light, when the wet sand reflects the sky and the crowd thins out to almost nobody.
Direction was minimal. A few prompts, a few suggestions for where to look or what to do with hands, then we got out of the way and let it happen. The best frames came from in-between moments.
The kind of late-afternoon shoot that turns into a story at the rehearsal dinner a year later.
