Cliffside light at Natural Bridges is the kind that makes everything look bigger. We caught the last hour of sun, with surf breaking on the rocks below and nobody else in the shot.
After that we headed under the trees at Henry Cowell Redwoods. Quieter air, filtered light, an entirely different character from the open coast.
Two-plus hours of slow walking, quiet direction, and a couple drives between spots. Each location added a different look to the gallery (coast, cliff, ridge, trees) without the day ever feeling rushed.
Wind, height, the silence between waves. Cliff proposals stick, and not just because of the photos.
See each spot in depth.
Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves. Nothing sets expectations like seeing multiple sessions at one location in different weather, times of day, and seasons. We get amazing photos no matter what, and we’re not afraid to show you.
