How it went
Natural Bridges sits on cliffs that drop hundreds of feet straight into the Pacific. We worked in golden-hour light, when it wraps the rocks and the marine layer thins out at the horizon.
From there we drove down to Capitola Beach for the back end of the day, when the sand catches pink and the marine layer comes in to flatten everything.
A half-day, in pieces. We worked each location for thirty to forty minutes, then moved on. Different light, different backdrops, but the same loose direction throughout.
Cliff-edge sessions tend to be the ones couples come back to a year later, still surprised at how the day held. This one will too.
