How it went

The trails through Mount Tamalpais open up onto views you can't see from the road. We picked our way along the ridgeline, stopping at the angles that mattered.

We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.

Ridge engagements have a quiet drama. Open sky, distant horizon, two people who chose to make the hike for a reason.

The shoot
The whole shoot, not just the highlights

Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves. Nothing sets expectations like seeing multiple sessions at one location in different weather, times of day, and seasons. We get amazing photos no matter what, and we’re not afraid to show you.
