How it went
What sells Montara Beach is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific. We worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half, enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
The view does most of the work. The couple does the rest. 7 frames of one quiet hour at the edge of the Pacific.
