We met at Manhattan Beach / Ritz Carlton HMB an hour before sunset. The tide was right, the light was right, the beach was empty enough to feel private.

Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot; the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.

The kind of late-afternoon shoot that turns into a story at the rehearsal dinner a year later.
