How it went
Under the canopy at Henry Cowell Redwoods the light goes green-gold for most of the afternoon. We worked slowly because the place asks for it.
A relaxed ninety minutes. We walked the perimeter, found the angles that worked, and let the light do most of the heavy lifting. The couple loosened up after the first ten frames and that's when the gallery really came together.
Most couples we shoot under redwoods say afterward that the silence was the part they didn't expect. The photos catch it.
