How it went
Vineyard light at Filoli Gardens is generous. The leaves diffuse it, the horizon catches it, and the wide rows give you depth to play with.
Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot; the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.
Vineyard sessions are the ones that end up on save-the-dates a year out. The setting reads as already-engaged before anyone says a word.
