There's a moment at Carmel Beach just before the sun drops where the sky and the sand go the same color. We made sure to be there for that.
Then we made our way to Carmel Meadows Trail for the beach light: softer color, broader sand, the sun working with the wet sand at the tide line.
We took the long route. Two-plus hours including driving, the kind of shoot where every location adds another color to the gallery.
Beach sessions have a way of making everyone slow down. Tide coming in, sun dropping, two people figuring out the next chapter together.

Here’s a few highlights from this shoot. Most photographers only ever show a static portfolio of their very best images. I think every potential client should see more than that: the full shoots themselves. Nothing sets expectations like seeing multiple sessions at one location in different weather, times of day, and seasons. We get amazing photos no matter what, and we’re not afraid to show you.
