We met at Baker Beach an hour before sunset. The tide was right, the light was right, the beach was empty enough to feel private.

Direction was minimal. A few prompts, a few suggestions for where to look or what to do with hands, then we got out of the way and let it happen. The best frames came from in-between moments.

Twelve months from now they'll point to one of these 32 frames and say "that's the one we put on the save-the-dates."
