Los Gatos sits at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains, which means you can be on a ridgeline trail in fifteen minutes from downtown. Castle Rock just up the road has dramatic sandstone formations. Vasona Park in town gives you a softer, walkable backdrop with willows and a lake. The downtown itself is photogenic if you want an urban-leaning shoot — old brick buildings, wisteria, well-kept small streets.
