How it went
What sells Gray Whale Cove is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific — we worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half — enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
Final delivery: 49 retouched photos. First selects within a day, the rest within seven. Another reason Half Moon Bay stays on the regular rotation.
