How it went
We shot Gray Whale Cove like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.
Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot — the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.
Final delivery: 49 retouched photos. First selects within a day, the rest within seven. Part of an ongoing run of shoots across Half Moon Bay.
