How it went
What sells Davenport Beach & Bluffs is the drop. Cliff edge, open sky, a couple silhouetted against the Pacific — we worked in raking light, the kind that arrives once a day and then it's gone.
A relaxed ninety minutes. We walked the perimeter, found the angles that worked, and let the light do most of the heavy lifting. The couple loosened up after the first ten frames and that's when the gallery really came together.
We delivered 43 edited frames. A handful within 24 hours so you have something to share with family; the full set seven days later. One of many recent shoots in Santa Cruz.
