How it went
Twin Lakes Beach is the kind of beach that doesn't fill up. We shot at the back end of the day, when the sand goes pink and the marine layer pulls in to soften everything.
Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot — the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.
What came out: 23 edited frames you could hang on a wall. Sneak peeks within 24 hours, full gallery in seven days. Part of an ongoing run of shoots across Santa Cruz.
