How it went
Point Lobos stretches out for miles at low tide. We timed this for the last light, when the wet sand reflects the sky and the crowd thins out to almost nobody.
Most of what looks like "posing" was actually just walking, talking, and pausing when the light hit right. We work this way on every shoot — the couple barely notices the camera by the second pass.
What came out: 29 edited frames you could hang on a wall. Sneak peeks within 24 hours, full gallery in seven days. Another reason Carmel stays on the regular rotation.
