How it went
Pfeiffer Beach stretches out for miles at low tide. We timed this for the last light, when the wet sand reflects the sky and the crowd thins out to almost nobody.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half — enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
The gallery came in at 34 edited frames. Sneak peeks went out same-night; the rest landed within the week. Part of an ongoing run of shoots across Big Sur.
