How it went
Beach light at Manhattan Beach does something soft and warm to skin tones at sunset. We worked the last ninety minutes, walking the tide line for changing angles.
Two hours of slow walking and quiet direction. No awkward poses, no "say cheese," just a couple who like each other in a place that suited them. We rotated through a couple of micro-locations within the spot, picking up different angles as the sun moved.
Final delivery: 19 retouched photos. First selects within a day, the rest within seven. Another reason Half Moon Bay stays on the regular rotation.
