How it went
Fitzgerald Marine Reserve stretches out for miles at low tide. We timed this for the last light, when the wet sand reflects the sky and the crowd thins out to almost nobody.
We took our time. The plan said two hours but we used about an hour and a half — enough to cover the spot from a few different angles without anything feeling rushed.
The gallery came in at 35 edited frames. Sneak peeks went out same-night; the rest landed within the week. Another reason Half Moon Bay stays on the regular rotation.
