How it went
We shot Alila Ventana Big Sur like the cliffs are a character in the story. Golden hour rakes across the bluffs, the horizon goes from blue to amber, and the surf does its own thing below.
Direction was minimal. A few prompts, a few suggestions for where to look or what to do with hands, then we got out of the way and let it happen. The best frames came from in-between moments.
